1376: M-35 German Army Helmet, field reissue

This helmet is an M-35 that was repainted and reissued in the field, during WW-2. Paint is thick and brushed on. There is a small scratch where the army decal sits, and a fleck of silver is visible indicating the Army decal is present under the paint. Front pins have been replaced with original pins with original paint, when you look close you will see that these pins have original factory paint and no brushed on paint. The rear pin is original to the helmet and the paint is a perfect match to the position. This leaves open to possibility that the liner has been replaced as well. Regardless of it's actual history, all components are 100% original and correct. Numbers cannot be read due to the heavy paint, but the shell is a 64 due to the liner being stamped 56.
